Successfully treating oil-contaminated soil in southern Iraq
RSK offers bespoke, turnkey bioremediation services to treat contaminated soil and help customers to avoid expensive waste disposal costs.
We operate the only bioremediation site in the Basra area. To date, we have successfully treated 21,000 m3 of oil-contaminated soil originating from the southern Iraq oilfields.
Our highly trained team uses specialist equipment, including two windrow turners, to homogenise and treat the soil. This equipment is unique in southern Iraq. We can also utilise our fully accredited, integrated geoenvironmental laboratory in Iraq to classify materials to be remediated and verify the bioremediation once it is complete.
