Ensuring you meet the latest standards for oil spill management
Modern environmental standards require oil companies to manage oil spills to a higher level than has previously been achieved in some countries. RSK can design oil spill response plans that meet the latest standards and provide resources to support the plans. This includes training client staff and sourcing specialist equipment and materials, such as booms and skimmers, to contain and recover the products resulting from an oil spill.
We are currently assessing a marine oil spill response plan for a project in Iraq. The project will involve specialist vessels and equipment to protect the integrity of an offshore asset and prevent the transboundary movement of any oil spill that occurs.
