RSK’s geophysics teams provide a comprehensive range of underground mapping services for detecting cables, pipelines, drains, old foundations and other underground obstructions.
This includes using ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic detection, conventional cable avoidance and induced electromagnetic mapping techniques. Our survey teams also have access to sonar equipment for shallow marine mapping and resistivity equipment for mapping contamination plumes, pipeline leaks and underground geological structures.
We can carry out precise levelling, positioning and setting-out surveys, and prepare detailed GIS-referenced site-wide utility mapping drawings, which are invaluable during redevelopment and construction projects.
